Florida Conservation & Technology Center Field Trip
Join us Monday, February 5th for a tour of The Florida Conservation and Technology Center (FCTC). The FCTC immerses visitors in the state's unique ecosystem and offers a behind-the-scenes look at efforts to help it thrive. The 500-acre campus is a showcase for stewardship, research, habitat restoration, help for endangered species, and education. The Center is the collaboration of three champions of the environment: Tampa Electric, the Florida Aquarium and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Tampa Electric’s Manatee Viewing Center is the cornerstone of FCTC. It’s a sanctuary for the gentle giants and a fantastic and free way for visitors to see manatees and native Florida habitats. Tour participation is optional for an additional fee of $50.00. Bus Transportation and lunch will be provided. Space is limited. For Registered Attendees Only
